Digital Humanities at Union College: 3D Printing Literature of the Country House
Join Associate Professor Andrew Burkett to learn about his innovative course at Union College where students use 3D modeling and 3D Printing to imagine the architecture of the country home in classic literature. The Maker Lab Series runs adjacent to my course, Literature of the Country House. Students will study imaginative and historical sources related to English country house tradition and will design their own English manor house for an optional final project. Using Tinkercad and Sketchfab, students will create 3D models that will be 3D printed at Union's Digital Design Studio. Come see the student work and learn about how 3D printing is being used in an English course at Union College!
